Reconquista frente al cambio climático

El Intendente Dr. Amadeo Enrique Vallejos participa, en la jornada del viernes 3 de marzo, de la V Asamblea Nacional de Intendentes de la Red Argentina de Municipios Frente al Cambio Climático.

Celebrada, en esta ocasión, en la ciudad de San Martín de los Andes (Neuquén), la asamblea anual es el espacio de encuentro e intercambio más importante entre los líderes de gobiernos locales pertenecientes a la RAMCC, un evento fundamental para realizar un balance de los proyectos que se vienen desarrollando enfocados a impulsar acciones de mitigación y adaptación al cambio climático, definiendo estrategias futuras.

En el encuentro se desarrollan temas como eficiencia energética, descarbonización de la economía, empleos verdes locales, economía circular y financiamiento climático. También se presenta la memoria y balance anual y se renueva el Consejo Nacional de Intendentes.

Gestión Hídrica y Saneamiento
En ese marco, el Intendente Dr. Amadeo Enri Vallejos disertará en la mesa de Gestión Hídrica y Saneamiento, donde expondrá los ejes principales del Plan de Saneamiento Integral del Arroyo el Rey, elaborado junto a la UTN Facultad Regional Reconquista y el Ministerio de Ambiente y Cambio Climático de la Provincia de Santa Fe, con aporte económico del Consejo Federal de Inversiones (CFI).

El proyecto contempla un colector de efluentes industriales que receptará y transportará las aguas residuales, desde los puntos de conexión, con las industrias por un ducto hasta la planta de tratamiento de efluentes. Estas aguas, ricas en nutrientes, serán luego canalizadas y reutilizadas para el riego de un área productiva de biomasa de alto interés económico para la región, transformando los efluentes industriales en un recurso productivo.

Esto posibilitará ampliar la capacidad actual de los parques industriales, permitiendo la expansión de las industrias existentes y la incorporación de nuevos emprendimientos, devolviéndole las condiciones hídricas naturales al curso del agua, cuyo saneamiento representará una mejora sustancial en las condiciones ambientales y en la calidad de vida de los vecinos de Reconquista, Avellaneda y la región.

Reconquista facing climate climate change

The Mayor Dr. Amadeo Enrique Vallejos participates, on Friday, March 3, in the V National Assembly of Mayors of the Argentine Network of Municipalities Facing Climate Change.

Held, on this occasion, in the city of San Martín de los Andes (Neuquén), the annual assembly is the most important meeting and exchange space among the leaders of local governments belonging to the RAMCC, a fundamental event to take stock of the projects that are being developed focused on promoting actions to mitigate and adapt to climate change, defining future strategies.

At the meeting, topics such as energy efficiency, decarbonization of the economy, local green jobs, circular economy and climate finance are developed. The annual report and balance sheet will also be presented and the National Council of Mayors will be renewed.

Water Management and Sanitation
Within this framework, the Mayor Dr. Amadeo Enri Vallejos will speak at the Water Management and Sanitation table, where he will present the main axes of the Integral Sanitation Plan of Arroyo el Rey, developed together with the UTN Facultad Regional Reconquista and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of the Province of Santa Fe, with financial support from the Federal Investment Council (CFI).

The project includes an industrial effluent collector that will receive and transport wastewater from the connection points with the industries through a pipeline to the effluent treatment plant. These nutrient-rich waters will then be channeled and reused for irrigation of a biomass production area of high economic interest for the region, transforming industrial effluents into a productive resource.

This will make it possible to expand the current capacity of the industrial parks, allowing the expansion of existing industries and the incorporation of new ventures, restoring natural water conditions to the watercourse, whose sanitation will represent a substantial improvement in environmental conditions and in the quality of life of the residents of Reconquista, Avellaneda and the region.
