Gonnet recorrió las ciudades de Vera y Calchaquí

En primera instancia, recorrieron acompañados de la intendenta Paula Mitre el Huracán Fútbol Club, institución que gracias a un aporte del Ministerio de Ambiente y Cambio Climático a través del programa Club Ambiental, Solar y Educativo (CASE), cuenta con nueve paneles solares que permiten obtener un ahorro económico. Cabe resaltar que, además, el Gimnasia Fútbol Club, ubicado también en la localidad de Vera, cuenta con dos calefones solares obtenidos por el CASE que proveen agua caliente a los vestuarios. 

Por otra parte, se realizó una reunión junto al equipo técnico en el edificio municipal. “Las cuestiones ambientales traen aparejados procesos de largo plazo, que necesitan del compromiso de los jefes territoriales. Por eso junto a la Intendenta de Vera nos reunimos para articular iniciativas vinculadas a potenciar la gestión de residuos y la forestación.

Sabemos la problemática que están atravesando en la zona con el basural a cielo abierto y es fundamental diseñar en conjunto una estrategia adaptada a la realidad de la localidad”, comentó la ministra Gonnet.

Por su parte, Mitre destacó: “Pensar un futuro para la ciudad es tener en cuenta una política ambiental, generando las condiciones necesarias para que nuestro espacio en el planeta sea cada vez más sustentable y saludable, es por eso que estamos trabajando intensamente junto a los equipos técnicos del Ministerio para proyectar la ciudad que queremos”.

“Las repetidas situaciones que venimos viviendo relacionadas a los problemas ambientales nos llevan a acelerar gestiones para avanzar en soluciones de fondo y para que los ciudadanos verenses no tengan que padecer las consecuencias”, apuntó. 

CALCHAQUI
En tanto, en Calchaquí, la ministra Gonnet se reunió en la Municipalidad con el intendente Rubén Cuello y posteriormente visitaron el equipamiento de GIRSU que fue entregado en el marco del Plan Incluir Ambiente.

Al respecto, la Ministra resaltó:  “Hoy en Calchaquí estamos mostrando hechos, trabajando con el Intendente, los recicladores, las escuelas. Quiero felicitar a todas las personas que están trabajando en estos proyectos porque son los responsables de que las propuestas que trajimos en su momento ya están plasmadas y funcionando” explicó la ministra. 

“Estoy muy contento porque ya tenemos la gran mayoría de los elementos que necesitamos adquiridos”, comentó el Intendente Ruben Cuello y explicó que “la idea era mostrar todo lo que estuvimos trabajando” en relación a la gestión de residuos. “Por todo esto, le quiero agradecer a Erika y al gobernador Omar Perotti por todo lo que hacen por nosotros y por nuestra ciudad”, finalizó.

Como último punto de la recorrida, los funcionarios visitaron la Asociación civil Fútbol Club Calchaquí, donde se encuentran instalados dos calefones solares que proveen de agua a los vestuarios de los deportistas de la ciudad. 

Cabe resaltar que la inversión ambiental en la localidad supera los 25 millones de pesos. Por un lado, a través del Plan Incluir Ambiente y diversos aportes del Gobierno de Santa Fe en materia de residuos, la localidad adquirió contenedores, una prensa, y una chipeadora. Además, se encuentra avanzando en la ejecución y montaje de un tinglado para su centro de reciclado. Por otro lado, junto al Programa de Naciones Unidas Para el Medio Ambiente, a través de gestiones conjuntas del Gobierno de Santa Fe, accedió al testeo e implementación de la hoja de ruta para el cierre de basurales a cielo abierto.

Además de todo el equipamiento mencionado la localidad de Calchaquí adquirió, UNA bicicleta para reciclaje urbano con asistencia eléctrica, 40 bicicletas para primera infancia, y 10 bicicletas para continuar fomentando la movilidad activa, y un tractor, motoguadañas y motosierras para potenciar las políticas de arbolado público.

Participaron además de las actividades realizadas en la jornada de ayer el subsecretario de Tecnología para la Sostenibilidad, Franco Blatter, y la subsecretaria de Economía Circular, Saida Caula.

 

Gonnet toured the cities of Vera and Calchaquí

Integral waste management and renewable energies in sports institutions were the main topics.

The government of the province of Santa Fe, through the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, continues to make progress in strengthening environmental policies in the different localities of the province of Santa Fe. Within this framework, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Erika Gonnet, and the senator for the department of Vera, Osvaldo Sosa, visited the cities of Vera and Calchaquí, where different actions were planned and equipment acquired through different provincial contributions was highlighted.

VERA
First of all, accompanied by the Mayor Paula Mitre, they visited the Huracán Football Club, an institution that, thanks to a contribution from the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change through the Environmental, Solar and Educational Club (CASE) program, has nine solar panels that allow economic savings. In addition, Gimnasia Fútbol Club, also located in the town of Vera, has two solar water heaters obtained by CASE that provide hot water to the changing rooms.

In addition, a meeting was held with the technical team at the municipal building. “Environmental issues involve long-term processes, which require the commitment of the territorial heads. For this reason, together with the Mayor of Vera, we met to articulate initiatives related to the promotion of waste management and forestation.
We know the problems that the area is going through with the open-air landfill and it is essential to jointly design a strategy adapted to the reality of the locality”, said Minister Gonnet.

For his part, Mitre emphasized: “To think of a future for the city is to take into account an environmental policy, generating the necessary conditions for our space on the planet to be increasingly sustainable and healthy, which is why we are working intensely together with the technical teams of the Ministry to project the city we want”.

“The repeated situations that we have been experiencing related to environmental problems lead us to accelerate efforts to advance in fundamental solutions and so that the citizens of Veracruz do not have to suffer the consequences”, he pointed out.

CALCHAQUI
Meanwhile, in Calchaquí, Minister Gonnet met in the Municipality with Mayor Rubén Cuello and later visited the GIRSU equipment that was delivered within the framework of the Include Environment Plan.

In this regard, the Minister highlighted: “Today in Calchaquí we are showing facts, working with the Mayor, the recyclers, the schools. I want to congratulate all the people who are working on these projects because they are responsible for the fact that the proposals we brought at the time are already in place and working,” explained the Minister.

“I am very happy because we already have the great majority of the elements we need acquired”, commented Mayor Ruben Cuello and explained that “the idea was to show everything we have been working on” in relation to waste management. “For all this, I want to thank Erika and Governor Omar Perotti for everything they do for us and for our city,” he concluded.

As the last point of the tour, the officials visited the Calchaquí Football Club Civil Association, where two solar water heaters are installed to provide water to the locker rooms of the city’s athletes.

It is worth mentioning that the environmental investment in the town exceeds 25 million pesos. On the one hand, through the Plan Incluir Ambiente (Include Environment Plan) and various contributions from the Government of Santa Fe in the area of waste, the town has acquired containers, a press and a chipper. In addition, progress is being made in the construction and assembly of a shed for its recycling center. On the other hand, together with the United Nations Environment Program, through joint efforts of the Government of Santa Fe, it agreed to the testing and implementation of the road map for the closure of open dumps.

In addition to all the aforementioned equipment, the town of Calchaquí acquired ONE bicycle for urban recycling with electric assistance, 40 bicycles for early childhood, and 10 bicycles to continue promoting active mobility, and a tractor, chainsaws and chainsaws to strengthen public tree planting policies.
