Massa anunció que YPF volverá a distribuir dividendos tras obtener ganancias récord en 2022

El titular de la cartera económica participó en línea de la exposición de los resultados ofrecidos por la empresa petrolera estatal en la Bolsa de Nueva York, en conmemoración de su trigésimo aniversario de cotización en dicho panel.

El ministro de Economía Sergio Massa celebró los resultados económicos y de producción de YPF y anunció que en la próxima Asamblea de Accionistas de la compañía el Estado nacional propondrá retomar la “distribución de dividendos” para consolidar a la compañía en el sistema financiero a los efectos de seguir recuperando sus resultados productivos y financieros.

Así lo planteó al participar en videoconferencia del acto de presentación de resultados que la conducción de YPF -una empresa de capital mixto- realizó en el New York Stock Exchange, en ocasión de cumplirse 30 años de cotización en ese mercado.

Además, sostuvo que el potencial desempeño de la empresa contribuye al objetivo de que el país alcance en los próximos cuatro años una capacidad de producción de 1 millón de barriles de petróleo y 170 millones de metros cúbicos de gas, lo que redundará en un exponencial crecimiento exportador.

Massa hizo hincapié en las obras de infraestructura en marcha en el país para incrementar la capacidad de transporte de hidrocarburos desde Neuquén hacia otras zonas del país y a los puntos de exportación.

El jefe del Palacio de Hacienda también ratificó la decisión del Gobierno de impulsar proyecto de ley para incentivar las inversiones en Gas Natural Licuado (GNL).

“Con lo hecho hasta ahora en el país, logrando atraer compañías internacionales al desarrollo de Vaca Muerta con miles de pozos perforados y una producción en la matriz argentina, hemos sembrado la semilla para tener un país exportador en energía, y ser actor relevante en mercado de crudo, pero aún más el del gas, a través de la gasoductos o licuefacción y GNL para todo el mundo”, destacó el ministro desde el edificio de YPF en Puerto Madero y se transmitió en el encuentro que se desarrolló en Nueva York.

El ministro sostuvo que “Vaca Muerta es una realidad”, al tiempo que el desafío por delante es “llegar a lugares del país en donde (la energía) no llega” y “facilitar la exportación de energía al mundo”.

Durante su discurso, mencionó la duplicación del sistema de Oldelval hasta la provincia de Buenos Aires y las inversiones de la terminal de Oiltankig.

También la rehabilitación del Oleoducto a Chile (Otasa), el nuevo Oleoducto Vaca Muerta Norte que construye YPF entre Añelo y Puesto Hernández, y el proyecto del Oleoducto Vaca Muerta Sur, que impulsa YPF entre Añelo y Punta Colorada (Río Negro), que será complementado con una nueva terminal portuaria.

En materia de gas, el titular de la cartera de Economía remarcó la construcción del Gasoducto Presidente Néstor Kirchner y el reversal del Gasoducto Norte, como puntapié para llevar gas al norte del país y exportar a través de Bolivia, a Chile y Brasil.

En relación al proyecto de YPF y Petronas, concluyó: “Vaca Muerta puede significar un cambio de paradigma, con la posibilidad de que Argentina se convierta en un jugador mundial de GNL”.

El titular de Economía tenía previsto asistir presencialmente como invitado especial al “Día de YPF” en la Bolsa neoyorquina, que se celebró en ocasión del 30º aniversario de cotización de las acciones de la petrolera argentina en ese mercado bursátil, pero debió cancelar porque las “tareas de ordenamiento financiero” demoraron su labor en Argentina, según expresó el ministro en sus redes sociales.

The head of the economic portfolio participated online in the presentation of the results offered by the state-owned oil company at the New York Stock Exchange, in commemoration of its thirtieth anniversary of listing on said panel.

The Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, celebrated YPF’s economic and production results and announced that at the next Shareholders’ Meeting of the company, the National Government will propose to resume the “distribution of dividends” to consolidate the company in the financial system in order to continue recovering its productive and financial results.

He made this proposal while participating in a videoconference at the results presentation ceremony that the management of YPF -a mixed capital company- held at the New York Stock Exchange, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its listing in that market.

He also stated that the company’s potential performance contributes to the objective that the country will reach a production capacity of 1 million barrels of oil and 170 million cubic meters of gas in the next four years, which will result in an exponential export growth.

Massa emphasized the infrastructure works underway in the country to increase the capacity to transport hydrocarbons from Neuquén to other areas of the country and to export points.

The head of the Treasury Palace also ratified the Government’s decision to promote a bill to encourage investments in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).

“With what has been done so far in the country, managing to attract international companies to the development of Vaca Muerta with thousands of wells drilled and a production in the Argentine matrix, we have sown the seed to have an exporting country in energy, and to be a relevant actor in the crude oil market, but even more in the gas market, through gas pipelines or liquefaction and LNG for the whole world”, highlighted the minister from the YPF building in Puerto Madero and was transmitted in the meeting that took place in New York.

The Minister said that “Vaca Muerta is a reality”, while the challenge ahead is to “reach places in the country where (energy) does not reach” and “facilitate the export of energy to the world”.

During his speech, he mentioned the duplication of the Oldelval system up to the province of Buenos Aires and the investments in the Oiltankig terminal.

He also mentioned the rehabilitation of the pipeline to Chile (Otasa), the new Vaca Muerta Norte pipeline being built by YPF between Añelo and Puesto Hernández, and the Vaca Muerta Sur pipeline project being promoted by YPF between Añelo and Punta Colorada (Río Negro), which will be complemented with a new port terminal.

As regards gas, the Minister of Economy highlighted the construction of the President Néstor Kirchner Gas Pipeline and the reversal of the North Gas Pipeline, as a kick-off to take gas to the north of the country and export it through Bolivia to Chile and Brazil.

In relation to the YPF and Petronas project, he concluded: “Vaca Muerta can mean a change of paradigm, with the possibility of Argentina becoming a world player in LNG”.

The Minister of Economy had planned to attend in person as a special guest at the “YPF Day” at the New York Stock Exchange, which was held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the listing of the Argentine oil company’s shares in that stock market, but he had to cancel because “financial organization tasks” delayed his work in Argentina, according to what the Minister said in his social networks.
