Políticas ambientales y desarrollo sostenible para Avellaneda

“Agradecemos y destacamos la voluntad política para continuar reforzando programas e iniciativas ambientales de mediano y largo plazo que nos permiten convivir con el medio de manera más sostenible en el tiempo” destacó el Intendente Gonzalo Braidot en el cierre de la misión que lleva adelante en Italia, en el marco del Proyecto Unión Europea. “Estos intercambios, agregó, permiten que Avellaneda, trabaje mejor en materia de residuos y compostaje, incorporando tecnología y equipamiento, con el compromiso y el involucramiento de los vecinos para alcanzar los resultados esperados”.

Durante la estadía en Europa, la delegación del norte santafesino visitó empresas que se dedican a gestionar residuos urbanos locales provenientes de distintas corrientes, su recuperación y tratamiento. Conoció la experiencia de la empresa BIOMAN SPA que cuenta con una planta de compostaje capaz de producir energías renovables a través de los residuos; la Cooperativa Sociale Karpós, con un gran compromiso social, poniendo de relevancia el rol de las mujeres en el ámbito de la economía verde y al grupo GEA Gestioni Ecologiche e Ambientali SPA que gestiona desechos en gran volumen, provenientes de una agrupación de localidades cercanas entre ellas.

Además, con la presencia los intendentes, Gonzalo Braidot en representación de Avellaneda, ciudad que hospeda el Proyecto financiado por la Unión Europa de € 2.000.000, y su par en Malabrigo, Roberto Spontón, intercambiaron experiencias con la Conferencia de Alcaldes de la Convención para Políticas Europeas, ente que agrupa a 12 localidades del Friuli, entre ellas Pordenone (ciudad socia del proyecto), Valdobbiadene y Roveredo in Piano, quienes abordan el desarrollo territorial de manera mancomunada.

Ya en el cierre de esta misión internacional, que concluirá – esta semana – con el abordaje de temáticas de innovación, visitarán el Polo Tecnológico Alto Adriático, un espacio para acelerar emprendedores, transferir tecnologías digitales y crear redes de networking. También se realizará una mesa técnica donde se trabajará sobre planificación urbana y revalorización del territorio.

Los intendentes reivindican el compromiso político asociado para lograr un desarrollo urbano integrado inclusivo, innovativo y sostenible en nuestros territorios, destacando la importancia de estos intercambios en la adquisición de saberes replicables en sus ciudades los que permiten mirar de manera próspera hacia el futuro.

Environmental policies and sustainable development: the role of international cooperation for Avellaneda’s present and future

“We appreciate and highlight the political will to continue strengthening medium and long-term environmental programs and initiatives that allow us to coexist with the environment in a more sustainable way over time” highlighted Intendant Gonzalo Braidot at the closing of the mission he is carrying out in Italy, within the framework of the European Union Project. “These exchanges, he added, allow Avellaneda to work better in terms of waste and composting, incorporating technology and equipment, with the commitment and involvement of the neighbors to achieve the expected results”.

During their stay in Europe, the delegation from the north of Santa Fe visited companies that manage local urban waste from different streams, its recovery and treatment. They learned about the experience of the company BIOMAN SPA, which has a composting plant capable of producing renewable energy from waste; the Cooperativa Sociale Karpós, with a great social commitment, highlighting the role of women in the green economy; and the group GEA Gestioni Ecologiche e Ambientali SPA, which manages large volumes of waste from a group of nearby towns.

In addition, with the presence of the mayors, Gonzalo Braidot representing Avellaneda, the city that hosts the project financed by the European Union for 2,000,000 euros, and his peer in Malabrigo, Roberto Spontón, exchanged experiences with the Conference of Mayors of the Convention for European Policies, a body that brings together 12 localities of Friuli, including Pordenone (partner city of the project), Valdobbiadene and Roveredo in Piano, which address territorial development in a joint manner.

At the end of this international mission, which will conclude – this week – with the approach of innovation topics, they will visit the Alto Adriatico Technological Pole, a space to accelerate entrepreneurs, transfer digital technologies and create networking networks. A technical round table will also be held to work on urban planning and revaluation of the territory.

The mayors claim the associated political commitment to achieve an inclusive, innovative and sustainable integrated urban development in our territories, highlighting the importance of these exchanges in the acquisition of knowledge that can be replicated in their cities, which allow them to look towards the future in a prosperous way.
