Unos $850 millones para mejorar la calidad de vida de los vecinos de barrio San Francisco

El Intendente Dr. Amadeo Enri Vallejos encabezó el inicio del histórico plan de obras de integración socio urbana del barrio San Francisco de Asís, este martes 28 de febrero.

Este ambicioso proyecto incluye obras de red de agua con 94 conexiones domiciliarias, red eléctrica con conexiones individuales y alumbrado público, red pluvial con cordón cuneta, red y señalización vial, veredas, equipamiento urbano, playón deportivo, arbolado y espacios verdes.

Además, en ese marco, transformará la vida de 40 familias del barrio que se verán beneficiadas con la construcción de núcleos húmedos, que consisten en módulos sanitarios de baño y cocina totalmente equipados, contemplando así mejores condiciones de higiene gracias al acceso al agua, el saneamiento y la electricidad segura.

Una inversión de magnitud

El Intendente Vallejos valoró “el registro de barrios populares que se realizó con el RENABAP, un relevamiento territorial que abrió caminos y nos permite iniciar hoy este proyecto”, destacando que las cooperativas y las empresas adjudicadas tienen que incorporar personas del barrio para llevar adelante las tareas.

“Hoy es un día histórico para San Francisco porque nunca vimos una inversión de esta magnitud en infraestructura para mejorar la calidad de vida de la gente, por más de $850.000.000 a través de este programa”, resaltó el Intendente Municipal, con más obras que “próximamente darán inicio en barrio Nuevo, Guadalupe Oeste, Guadalupe Sur y Loteo Marega, ejecutando más de $2.500 millones en estos sectores de nuestra ciudad”.

El Dr. Vallejos, además, detalló que “en el este de la ciudad, en La Cortada, Ombusal y Las Ranas, se están terminando las últimas conexiones cloacales, llegando a miles vecinos de nuestra ciudad con sistema de cloacas y sistema de agua potable, mérito de la articulación con todos los organismos del Estado, pero también del trabajo conjunto con los vecinos”, finalizó.

Approximately $850 million to improve the quality of life of the residents of the San Francisco neighborhood

Mayor Dr. Amadeo Enri Vallejos headed the start of the historic social and urban integration works plan for the San Francisco de Asís neighborhood on Tuesday, February 28.

This ambitious project includes water network works with 94 home connections, electric network with individual connections and public lighting, pluvial network with curb and gutter, road network and signaling, sidewalks, urban equipment, sports ground, trees and green spaces.

In addition, the project will transform the lives of 40 families in the neighborhood who will benefit from the construction of wet areas, consisting of fully equipped bathroom and kitchen sanitary modules, thus providing better hygiene conditions thanks to access to water, sanitation and safe electricity.

A major investment

Intendant Vallejos valued “the registration of popular neighborhoods that was carried out with RENABAP, a territorial survey that opened roads and allows us to start this project today”, highlighting that the cooperatives and the awarded companies have to incorporate people from the neighborhood to carry out the tasks.

“Today is a historic day for San Francisco because we have never seen an investment of this magnitude in infrastructure to improve the quality of life of the people, for more than $850,000,000 through this program”, highlighted the Municipal Mayor, with more works that “will soon begin in Nuevo, Guadalupe Oeste, Guadalupe Sur and Loteo Marega neighborhoods, executing more than $2,500 million in these sectors of our city”.

Dr. Vallejos also detailed that “in the east of the city, in La Cortada, Ombusal and Las Ranas, the last sewage connections are being finished, reaching thousands of neighbors of our city with sewage and drinking water systems, thanks to the articulation with all the State agencies, but also to the joint work with the neighbors”, he concluded.
